This week the Unite to Fight Summer Organizing Institute kicks off the 2-month Organizing Drive that includes base-building, community assemblis, collective action, and communications projects. The 5-Day Organizing Institute is bringing together organizers from Project South (GA); Crescent City Media Group (LA); University Sin Fronteras (natl); Spirithouse (NC); Alabama Immigrant Justice Coalition (AL); Southwest Workers Union (TX); New Jim Crow Movement (FL); Feminist Women’ Health Center (GA); The Ordinary Peoples Society (TOPS-AL); Peoples Institute Youth Agenda (LA); Breakout (LA); Women Watch Afrika (GA); Sustainable Rural Regenerative Enterprises (AL); and Philander Social Justice Institute (AR).
